After penning and producing several hits as Young D for the past few years, the writer/producer is launching his artist career under the moniker Jus D. "Whether I'm performing or creating for myself and others I'm Jus D. now" says the artist who has been a significant force in the music business since 2012.
Jus D. recently released his first contribution to Barbados' Crop Over season as an artist with "Give It To Me", a hybrid soca tune, produced by Livity Movements and fast rising Guyanase producer DRWTHVN. "The sound is a fusion of Soca, Dancehall, AfroBeats and EDM, which represents the current vibe of Barbados," says the artist's manager and Executive Producer of his upcoming project, Paul Parris. "We believe this energy can make an impact on the other Caribbean carnivals and just as importantly, on carnivals in the diaspora".
